With so many Chelsea art galleries still rebuilding and drying out art this week, there are few shows to be seen. One show we’d recommend you see this weekend is by Ryan Foerster.
A show so vast it’s hard to describe, Foerster incorporates nature and photography together to create a large scale installation. He experiments with photography using unexposed sheets of paper to beautiful effect. Using chemicals on mirrors and metal plates, alongside piles of wood on the ground and objects like a large metal bedspring. Objects are interspersed with emotional photographs of women and nature and eerie metal gates as well as found objects, the more time you spend looking at this show, the more interconnected and fascinating it becomes.
