The New Museum took over the Lower East Side two years ago with Ideas City, a street festival full of creative, innovative ideas for the future of our City. This weekend, Ideas City once again takes over the Bowery and surrounding Lower East Side neighborhood. The theme of Idea’s City this year is “Untapped Resources” and artists, architects, poets, technologists, historians and entrepreneurs will come together at this street festival to share their ideas about Untapped Capital in New York City.
One hundred cultural, education and civic organizations will present projects, exhibitions, screenings, food and thoughtful creative concepts for New York City’s future. Many activities will take place on the street tomorrow, including a giant artists’ projection on the entire facade of the New Museum building. The New Museum. Ideas City. 235 Bowery Street.
