Winter Blues

ALINA MODELS0063_LOWRES PROOFSIt’s no secret that we New Yorker’s stick to a pretty solid uniform of black and sombre dark colors, especially during the winter months.  We sat down with stylist Angel Macias and photographer Alina Gozin’a and gave them a challenge.  Come up with two looks that inject color into a classic menswear look.  The results show two models with a multitude of ideas on how to add color to your look.

Adam (above) paired a wool coat by Hancock with a Neoprene color block sweater by Pantone and a cheeky pair of orange socks from Scotch and Soda.  Khorey (below) rocked a bright yellow coat by Kent & Curwen, a blue turtle neck by Topman and anchored the look with a pair of classic black leather Converse. Any color injection, no matter how big or small, makes for a dandy style update on a cold winter day.
